Betty Ruth Bills Runnels, 76, of Paris entered eternal rest December 29, 2020, surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Truevine Christian Church. The  Rev. Douglas Reasno will serve as eulogist. 

Betty Ruth Bills Runnels was born on April 4, 1944, to the parentage of the late Amos Bills and Ruth Lee Grant Bills. She united in Holy Matrimony to Joe Runnels. She was the mother of one daughter. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to Pandora music and traveling when possible. She was preceded in death by her parents: husband and sister, Jackie Bills-Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Becky Rochelle Jackson of Paris; step daughter, Kathy Houston Embry and husband Glen of Paris; companion, Jimmie Epperson of Paris; brothers, Aubrey Dean Bills (Shelia) of Dallas, Elliot Bills (Barbara) of Paris; Kennedy Bills of Sherman; half brother, David Robinson of Paris; sisters, Jennifer Reed and Audrey Jean Bills (Leonard) of Paris; half sister, Mary Joyce Williams; grandchildren, Lashonda Jackson and Ger'Tavien Biggers both of Richardson; godson, Coby Harmon of Clarksville; also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
