Chadrick Lipscomb, 36, of Irving, Texas passed away from this life to his Heavenly home on February 12, 2021.Funeral services are set for 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Bishop Connice Mayes, eulogist and the Rev. Gary Savage, pastor. Interment will follow at Shawnee Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
Chadrick Demond Lipscomb fondly know as “Big Baby” was born February 26, 1984 in Paris, TX to the parents of William Lipscomb and Sharon Lane Hayes. He was raised in Paris, TX, Chicago, IL, Norfolk, VA; Pensacola, Florida and Clarksville, TX. He returned back to Paris, TX at the age of 11. Where he attend Crockett Middle School before moving to Clarksville, TX. Where he graduated from Clarksville High School in 2003. After graduating he attended DeVry University in Irvin, TX. At an early age Chad united with Shawnee Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Pastor Ozzie Coleman. Chad had a heart of gold and he loved his family and friends. He had a smile that would brighten your day. He loved computers and playing video games. Chad always tried to be there for his mother, brothers, niece, nephews and family and friends. Chad was the life of all family and friends events. He loved to have fun clowning and joking. He could debate with the best of them. He loved working with computers and reading. He would research things until he found all he could about it. Chad was an encourager, he didn’t like drama. So he encourage you to do the right things and to let things go. Chad dreamed of working with computers and didn’t let any of his distraction stop him. He attended Paris Junior College where he studied Computer Application, Studied Network Support Administrator at My Computer Career Dallas and Studied Computer Science at ITT Technical Institute. He worked for Campbell Soup, Kimberly-Clark, Roland Technology Group as a Re-mote Technical Engineer, Express Employment Professionals as a Computer Repair and worked at Microsoft.
Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Harmon & Frankie Mae Lane Harmon; grandmother, Dorothy Humphrey, great-grandparents, John Lane & Gracie Douglas Lane; Harmon Sr. & Estelle Lewis Harmon; JC Humphrey Sr. & Viola Humphrey; William & Lillian Lipscomb. A host of aunts and uncles and family.
