Charles Calvin (Bee) Bills

Charles Calvin (Bee) Bills, 76, of Paris entered eternal rest on November 1, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Paris New Generation Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Johnson serving as eulogist. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Palestine Cemetery.

Charles Calvin Bills was born December 15, 1944 to Luvenia and Jesse Bills Sr in Novice, TX. He attended Lone Star and Powderly Schools and joined Palestine Baptist church at an early age. Bee enlisted in the US Army in 1965 and returned a decorated sharpshooter. After serving his country Bee started his career at Westinghouse which would eventually become Phillips lighting Company and worked over 42 years until his retirement. 

Although Charles never had any children of his own, he was a fixture in the homes and lives of his many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to him as “THE BULL” or simply Uncle Bee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luvenia and Jesse Bills, brothers,  Jesse Jr,,  Robert and Herman Bills.
