Dixie Helen Burns, 90, of Paris entered eternal rest December 22, 2020, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Solid Rock Baptist Church. The Rev. Lance Mann will serve as eulogist and Pastor Dee Randall, Mistress of Ceremony. Interment will follow to Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
Dixie Burns was born February 6, 1930 to the parentage of the late John and Helen Wade Black. A member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, she attended B. J. Graves School and was employed as a Home Health Provider for more than forty years. She entered eternal rest on December 22, 2020.

Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Peggy Sims; son, Stevie Lee Burns, two sisters, Mae Helen Black Buckner, and Mary Black; brothers, L. J. Black and Bobby “JT” Black;
A special friend, Mary King, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
