Doll Council

Doll Price Council, 86 of Paris went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2023. Funeral services are set for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Freedom Tabernacle Church of God-In-Christ. Interment will follow at Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Doll Council was born December 27, 1936, to the parentage of the late Johnathan and Ruth Price.  She was a graduate of Gibbons High School.  She was a retiree of Sears after 22 years of Service.  She was a former member of the Overcomer's Church of God in Christ under the leadership Elder C.H. Pierson, Horace L. Beans, Elder Vincent Lewis for many years and currently a member at Evangelist Temple. She united in holy matrimony with Rudolph Council. She entered eternal rest on September 24, 2023.

Sons:  Dennis Eric Finnie of Paris, Texas. Roger A. Finnie of Portland, Oregon.

Siblings: Betty Price of Paris, Texas. Selmus Price of Clovis, New Mexico.  

Special Friends: Mattie Jones and Rebecca Sanders.

Also, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rudolph Council, and three sons, Charles, Rickey, and Ronald Finnie.
