Dorothy Faye Seay, 69, of Paris passed away April 12, 2023, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Luke Baptist Church. Interment will follow to Rocky Ford Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Dorothy Faye Seay (Johnson) was born on January 3, 1954, to the parentage of Lester and Bobbie Jean Johnson of Roxton, Texas. Dorothy Faye attended H.G. Smith High School in
Roxton, Texas. She worked at Campbell Soup, Cherry Street Nursing Home, and Nancy’s Café for many years.
Dorothy Faye was a faithful member of the St. Luke Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Aaron Jenkins. Dorothy Faye loved her family and was always willing to help anyone.
She will be missed but God loved her best and rewarded her with Eternal Life on April 12, 2023, surrounded by her family. Dorothy Faye was greeted at Heaven’s Gates by her late husband Ray Paul Seay, her father, Lester Johnson Jr., her mother, Bobbie Jean Johnson, grandparents, Lester Johnson Sr. and Earline Johnson, aunts, and uncles.
