Essie Reynolds

Essie Reynolds, 68, of Paris passed away January 29, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services are set for 12 Noon Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Oak Hill Baptist Church with pastor A. Mosley serving as eulogist. Interment will follow at Egypt Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Essie Reynolds was born May 7, 1952, to the parentage of. Margaret Ellis and the late Lonnie Morgan. She was a retiree of Päris Regional Medical Center, where she was a nurse for many years. She was a graduate of Delmar High School. She-united in holy matrimony with Theodis Reynolds and to this union, three daughters were born. Essie entered eternal rest January 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharhonda Reynolds Hickson; brother, Jeffrey Ellis; father, Lonnie Morgan; and husband Collin Robinson. 

Loved ones who remain include daughters, Bronica Shaw and Shanerika Reynolds (Nico); stepchildren, Tifany Johnson, Cedric Johnson, and Corey McGee; mother, Margaret Ellis; siblings, Larry Ellis (Maxine), Helen Martin (Rydell), Regina Williams (Shawn), James Ellis (Marian), Patricia Baldwin and Terry Ellis (Nancita); grandchildren, Daserria Wallace (Quar’Montre), Dariana Reynolds, Chaslyn Reynolds, Jaslyn Reynolds, Giana Reynolds, Shanzerika Reynolds, Her’Zavion Reynolds, A’Dreon Garvin, and Quendyn Reynolds; special friends, Patsy Williams and Bobbie Giles; special cousin, Beverly Jo Ellis; special nephews Benard Cobb and Demetric Sanders; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
