Obituary
Estella Chism, 69, of Dallas passed away on March 23, 2023, at Charlton Methodist Hospital. Maxey Funeral Home will conduct Funeral services at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the Maxey Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Billy Hill will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow at Restlawn Garden Cemetery.
Estella Jeanetta Chism was born December 5, 1954, to Bill and Rosa Mae Chism, in Paris, TX, the third of six children Affectionately called "Big Mana" by those close to her, she was very smart and knowledgeable. She attended Pans Public Schools.
On Thursday, March 23, 2023, God saw that Estella Chism was tired, needed rest, and he took her home. She is preceded in death by her father Bill Chism, brother John Willie Chism, and mother Rosa Mae Chism.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Cicely and her son Rashad of Dallas, TX; her sister Della Johnson of Rowlett, TX; her brother William (Virgina) of Cedar Hill, TX; her brother Larry of Dallas, TX; and her brothers James and Donald of Paris, TX; two grandchildren Shanari and Jaydon; and a host of nephews nieces, other relatives, and friends.
