Sister Genola Wallace Fisher was born on June 5,1948 to the late Vernon and Lettie B Wallace. She was
the 3rd of eleven children. On Thursday, September 7, 2023, at approximately 9:05 pm, Genola entered
eternal rest. At an early age, Genola accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and continued to serve
faithfully in her Christian calling until death.

On December 29, 1978, Genola was united in matrimony to the late Billy Fisher. Her union with Billy
was blessed with three handsome sons. Genola and Billy lived in unity with a strong love for each other,
a mission to keep Christ first in their home, and a charge to raise strong young men. The two of them
were inseparable and were loved by many in the community.

Genola worked at Phillip Lighting for numerous years. Upon retirement, she was employed with Wal-
Mart and was known by many for her beautiful smile and encouragement as a cashier. In July 2020, she retired from Wal-Mart. She then lived her remaining years serving in her church, community and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Genola was well known for her love of singing and hours upon hours of phone conversations with her sisters and being a sweet fragrance to any situation.
