Jacalyn Barry

Funeral services for Jacalyn "Connie" Barry, 68, of Paris will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Solid Rock Baptist Church. The Rev. Floyd Trotter will serve as eulogist. Interment will be held in Fairland Cemetery.

Jacalyn “Connie” Barry was born to the parentage of Booker “T” Barry and Zelma Denton Barry on
October 27, 1954, in Paris, Texas. She could fuss like no other BUT she loved like no other too. She was a
member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She graduated from Paris High School, and she received a
certification in nursing from PJC. She retired from Kimberly Clark. She departed life on August 29, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her memories:

Daughters: Tamisa Hunter (Jonathan) of Dallas, Texas. Shameka Bullock (Blake) of Paris, Texas.

Sisters: Ethelda Fay Batts of Houston, Texas and Cheryl Barry of Paris, Texas.

Grandchildren: Jatarein, Janesia (twins) and Jamondric Hunter of Dallas, TX Trevoius Qua’Shun Marquis.
Barry and Atajeni Jemick Barry of Paris, TX.

Great grandchildren: Carter Hunter of Dallas, TX and Kaysen Ja’Syah Barry.

Special Friends: Gerry Dillard “She loved chicken enchiladas; she had a good appetite and good heart. I loved my Queen, and she had a good heart." Lucy Corprew "Connie was a loving and dependable person. Our kids grew up together and we talkedoften. We looked out for each other and whenever I was wrong about something, she would surely tell me. I consider Connie a true friend!" She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker and Zelma Barry, Brothers Joe Phillip Barry, Ronald Barry, Norman Barry and William “Bill” Barry.
