Jesse Brown

Jesse Brown, 81, of Paris passed away on September 28, 2021, in the comfort of his home. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Covenant Christian Church. Anitial'a Robins Ware will serve as eulogist.

Jesse Brown, Jr.  was born on April 11, 1940 in Terrell, Texas to Jesse Brown,Sr. and Irene Hickmon King. He attended school in Terrell, Texas. Later, he moved to Paris, Texas.In 1969 he started working at Superior SwitchBoard and worked there for nearly 25 years making his way up to Union President for several years. During his time there he took on a second job of delivering newspapers. After retiring he spent his time baby-sitting his grandkids, detailing his cars, watching old westerns, listening to The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and Johnny Taylor, who were his favorites.

Loving Wife:  Cynthia Boyd Brown of Paris, Texas.

Children: Jacqueline (Levon) Lyes of Denver, Colorado.  James (Redonna) Brown of Arizona.  Patricia (Marvin) Thompson of Garland, Texas. Ricky Brown of Dallas, Texas.  Michael Brown of Paris, Texas.  Felecia Brown of Dallas, Texas.  Connie Davis, Ronnie Davis, Christa (Corey) Mosley, Christopher Davis and Rachel Smith all of Paris, Texas.

Also 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, special friends, James Minor and Lonnie Layton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He will be able to join his family once again for all eternity, his parents, and siblings, Johnny Brown, Robert King, Gloria Black and Donna.
