Jierel Johnson

Jierel Johnson, 38, of Hugo, OK departed this life on November 29, 2021. The family will receive friends Friday, December 3, 2021, at Alberta Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 pm. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Hugo Middle School with the Rev. Lawrence Dangerfield serving as eulogist. Alberta Funeral Home will make burial in Crosle

Jieriel Johnson was born November 18, 1983 to J.C and Brenda Johnson.  Jieriel graduated from Hugo High School in 2002.  On March 9, 2009, he married Shelby Weathers.  To this union, three children were born.  Jieriel was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  He entered eternal rest on November 29, 2021.

Jieriel is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Jieriel leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Shelby Johnson, two daughters, Jalyn and JaKya and one son, Jabreon all of Hugo, Oklahoma.  He also leaves behind his mother, Brenda Johnson of Hugo, Oklahoma; his father, J.C Johnson of Paris, Texas; bonus sister, Inissha Hill of Fort Worth, Texas; bonus brothers, Adrian Jones of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Shane Richardson of Chickasha, Oklahoma and Cody Foreman of Durant, Oklahoma; his mother in law, Kimberly Rankin of Hugo, Oklahoma, his god mother, Carolyn Foreman of Hugo, Oklahoma, his dear friend, Taqoya Monds of Texarkana, Texas and the Reckless Ballers basketball team and their families as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
