John Henry Wilson

John Henry Wilson, 95, of Windom, Texas passed away March 26, 2021, Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Maxey Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Carlton Mitchell will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow to Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. 

John Henry was born to Charlie and Hattie Wilson on December 30, 1925. He joined church at a young age, loved going to church, singing in the male choir. He married Bernice Blackmon and to this union no children were born. However, he has a host of nephews and nieces that he loved dearly. He worked  as a farmer, driving tractors throughout his lifetime and loved the farm life and loved all his friendly farm animals. He was a very strong, loveable, and wise but peculiar man. All those who knew him would probably say that his presence was one-of-a-kind and that he will truly be missed by all family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, mother and father and all his brothers and sisters.
