Joseph McCarthy, 79, of Paris entered eternal rest on June 11, 2023. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Maxey Funeral Home.
Joseph McCarthy was born February 7, 1944 to the parentage of Adeline Hughes. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He loved golfing. He was a retiree of Kimberly Clark Corporation. He entered eternal rest on June 11, 2023.
Loved Ones Who Remain:
Sons: Tracy McCarthy (Tracie) and Joey McCarthy.
Sisters: Patricia Moore, Sherry Braxton, Joscelyn Hughes, and Christie Hughes-Loud.
Grandchildren: DeWayne McCarthy (wife Nia), Dreyton McCarthy, Deydren McCarthy, Whitney McCarthy.
Also, one great grandchild; Mya, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy McCarthy, siblings, Margie Hughes and Roscoe Hughes.
