Marcus Ridley

Reflections of Life

Marcus Ray Ridley was born May 4, 1960, to the union of
the late Willis Ridley, Jr. and Patsy Walker Ridley in Paris, Texas.
Marcus accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at
Hospitality Church of God in Christ under the pastorage of the
late Elder M.B. Ellison. Marcus received his formal education
in the Paris Public School, where he graduated from Paris High
School in 1978. Upon graduation, he worked at the Paris Packing
House for many years and various other jobs until he was 62, at
which time he proudly received his social security benefits. He
married the love of his life April 2, 2015, Angela Penny Ridley.
Marcus departed his earthly home on Friday, August 12, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joyce Lawrence;
brothers, John Willis Ridley, Don Eugene Ridley,And Marvin
Dewayne Ridley; a great niece, Raven Dowd; Niece, Lameshia
Embry; Grandparents, Willis Ridley, Sr. and Naomi , Johnny,
and Rosia Walker.
