Celebrating the Life Of Marilyn Parker.  Services are scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Central District Building with Rev. Clevondo Benson serving as eulogist.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Obituary

Marilyn Parker was born November 10, 1962 in Grant, Oklahoma to the parentage of A.C. Parker and Eddie Jean (Colbert) Parker.  She was a  graduate of Grant High School.  She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide in her early years, worked many years as a cook at Hugo city schools, Kiamichi opportunities for years and was a home health employee until she retired.  She loved being around her family and talking to them on the phone for hours at a time.  She was very proud of them and loved her kids dearly.  She worked hard her whole life. She loved crushed ice, watching Lifetime, loved the Dallas Cowboys, never met a stranger. She was “Marilyn” all the time. She entered eternal rest on February 16, 2023.

Loved Ones Who Remain:

Children:  Kenesha Coleman (Warren Coleman), Quentin Scales (Tiesha Knight), and Lorenthia Jeffers (Maurice Jeffers) 

all of Hugo, Oklahoma.  Sisters:  Shelia Parker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Patreace Parker of Hugo, Oklahoma.

Brothers:  Belvin Daniels (Rachel Daniels), Micheal Daniels (Tina Daniels), Jason Daniels (Tiffany Daniels).

Granddaughters: Nah-Khyria Mitchell, Jah-Khyia Coleman, Cimiya Williams, Jaliyah Scales, Dyamond Scales, Dior Scales, Quarmyn Scales.

Grandsons: Jah-Kerrious Parker, Tyreon Scales, Tamareon Jeffers.    Great grandchildren:  Khylann Mitchell and Nhari Brown. 

Bonus Children: Taisha Ridley, Taynai Ridley, Tia Hill, Lorenzo King, Carlos king, Erica King, Brandon King, and Marcelle Locke. 

Bonus brother: Odell Daniels, Jr.  Also a host of other relatives and friends.
