Martha Embry

Martha Embry, 67, of Paris entered eternal rest on September 13, 2023.  Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Paris New Generation Baptist Church. The Rev. Connice Mayes will serve as eulogist, the Rev. Shannon McGuire, pastor. Interment will follow to Fairland Littlejohn Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Martha Louise Embry was born June 15, 1956, in Paris TX. To the late Curtis C & Corine V. Embry, whom she cherished whole heartily. Martha accepted Christ in her life at an early age and she always knew God was with her through her trials and tribulations. She was a member of The Solid Rock Baptist Church. Martha (Lou) graduated from Paris High School Class of 1975. She then went on her journey of life to work for Merico, Earthgrains and to retire from Sara Lee Bakery with 28 years of service. (Lou) was the life of the party. She loved people and met NO stranger and was quick to tell it like it is whether you like it or not. She will be missed dearly, but most definitely by her family. Martha is preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Corine Embry. Sister, Debra Ann Embry. Son, Brice Keon Embry. Niece, Lamesa Danielle Embry.
