Mr. Michael Don Dillard, 67, of Paris, Texas entered into eternal rest peacefully on May 10, 2023, in Dallas, Texas surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Interment will follow to Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
Michael "Don" Dillard was a friend to ALL that knew him and LOVED his family! Don LOVED life, and spending time with his family. He always had a way of making everyone he met feel special with his smile!
He had a great passion for fishing, gardening, installing yard sprinkler systems, and owned his own lawn service in which he was dedicated to by serving his community many years! He was a graduate of Delmar High School.
Don loved the Lord, reading his bible, singing, and playing dominoes! He was a active member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church where he sang in the male chorus until his health began to fail. He was a loving and caring person. Devoted Husband, Father, and friend, always thinking of others first.
He was preceded in death by parents, Field J. & Katherine Dillard; brothers, Johnny Gene Dillard, Fredrick Dillard, Eugene Dillard, Billy Dillard; sister, Janice Dillard; one daughter, Redonna Morgan.
Until the trumpet sounds, he leaves to cherish his loving memories his Special Life-long partner Rebecca Worthy (Paris, TX); son, Datron Morgan (Dallas, TX), bonus son, Zachary Spradlin; bonus daughters, Maddie Spradlin, Marquisha Taylor, and Angela Henderson; Sisters, Linnie King, Frances McCarty, Betty Cooper, and Carol Dillard; brothers, Charles (Shirley) Dillard St., Clifton Ray Dillard, James Dillard Sr. Ivory Dillard, Jerry Dillard, Jimmy Dillard, and Harold Dillard all of Paris, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
