Myrtle (Waters) White

Myrtle Lee Waters White, 70, of Paris entered eternal rest on September 27, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. The Rev. Gary Savage, pastor and Elder Rondie Williams serving as eulogist. Interment will follow to Fairland Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Myrtle Lee White was born to Elder Leon Waters, Sr. and Josie Lee Savage. She was a graduate of Paris High School, and UTA of Arlington, Texas. Myrtle Lee later married Willie White, Sr. of Arlington,Texas and to this union one child Christini Deanne-White was born. Myrtle Lee White is survived by her daughter Christini White and grandson David Isom, her step daughters; Angela White Haley and daughter, Autum Sanders; Willie White Beamon and her two sons, Tyler and Taylor White. She also leaves her sibblings, Claudette Waters, Deborah Waters Galloway, Linda Dudley, Clara Gaffney and Leon Waters, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father Elder Leon Waters, Sr., and her mother Josie Lee Waters; one brother, Lawrence James; her grandmother, Mariah Louise Savage and grandfather, Tom Savage.
