Life of Ms Ora Lee Brown Henderson 

Ora Lee Henderson was born August 25, 1934. She was the 2nd of 4 children born to William and Rena Brown. 

In her early work career she worked at Saint Joseph Hospital and later at Cherry Street Annex/Manor. Her later career she worked at Jordan Laundry. After working many years she retired and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She met and married the love of her life Cleamon Henderson, and to this union 7 children were born; Annie Bostic, William Cleamon (WC) Henderson, Mary Johnson, Irene Henderson, Luvella Henderson (deceased), Becky McGinnis, and Gerald Henderson (deceased). She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren. 

Ora was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Arthur City, Texas for many years. Preceding her death, she was attending Lamar Avenue Church of Christ where she was a dedicated member.  

She leaves to cherish her memories, Annie (Earnest) Bostic and Mary Johnson of Paris, Texas; William Cleamon (Rhonda) Henderson and Irene Henderson of Topeka, Kansas; Becky McGinnis of Temecula, Ca. Stepchildren Horace (Ella) Henderson and Sam (Mary) Henderson of Topeka, KS; Thelma (Rufus) Lucas of San Francisco, CA; Donny Johnson and Carl (Kandye) Johnson of Paris, TX; Barbara Johnson and Julie Johnson of Tyler, TX. A host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends and caregiver Monica Smith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Rena Brown; her sister and brothers Elvira Brown, Mac and Thomas Gene Brown; Her daughter Luvella Henderson and son Gerald Henderson and the love of her life Cleamon William Henderson.
