Phillip Jones

On Monday, November 15, 2021, Phillip Jones, a loving father of two children, passed away at age 34. Funeral services are set for 11:00 am Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Hugo Middle School. Pastor Carolyn Hicks will serve as eulogist. Alberta Funeral Home will make burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Phillip Jones was born on February 7th, 1987, in Hugo, OK, to Patsy Bostic and Ronald Jones I. He graduated from Hugo High School in 2005. Phillip's daughter, Sonaya, was born in 2004, and his son, Kadyn, was born in 2008.

Phillip provided a jovial light to every life that he touched. He was quick with a joke, kind word, or smile that could brighten up a room. Phillip could often be seen cheering for Kadyn during his little league games, enjoying lunch with Sonaya, or catching a Lakers game with friends and family. Phillip had a kind and generous nature. He was known to share whatever comfort that he could muster from his heart or money that he could collect from his pocket. Countless classmates, friends, and confidantes have unforgettable stories of Phillip's kindness and generosity. Phillip's kind, jovial, and loving spirit lives on through the memories that we shared with him.

Phillip was preceded in death by father, Ronald Jones I. He is survived by his two children, Kadyn and Sonaya, his mother, Patsy, his brothers Ron & Toby, his grandmother, Mattie, and several cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27th, 2021, at Hugo Middle School at 11:00 a.m. Flowers or donations may be sent to 1001 West Arthur Hugo, OK 74743.
