Sallye Mae (Smith) Neal Williams

Sallye Mae Smith, 82, of Dallas formerly of Paris passed away March 20, 2021. Funeral services are set for 11:00 am Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Solid Rock Baptist Church. The Rev. Darnell Wagner will serve as eulogist and the Rev. Lance Mann, pastor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. 

Sallye Mae Smith was born January 5, 1939 to the late William H. Smith and Druscilla Clement Smith.  Sallye went home to be with our Lord on March 20, 2021.  
Sallye was a graduate of Powderly High School and Arlington Memorial Nursing School. She has worked at several medical institutions throughout her 50 year career. Sallye gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church.  Awaiting her in Glory is her beloved husband of 34 years, Rev. Roscoe Neal to which she married on December 24, 1954. To this union, 4 children were born. Later Sallye married Vuree Williams in November of 1990. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2006.  

Loved Ones Who Remain:

Children: Barbara Neal Patt of Brookston, Texas, Danny Neal and wife, Temeka of Fort Worth, Texas, David Neal and wife, Charolette of Desoto, Texas.  Sister,  Arzea "Penny" McFalls of Paris, Texas; Brother,  Everett W. Smith and wife, Delores of Paris, Texas. Sisters-in-law, Joan Smith of Paris, Texas and Veral Neal of Cooper, Texas. Also 13 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, Patricia Diann Neal, sister, Lois Rodgers, and brother, Bobby Smith.  Also one grandson, Jessie Jamelle Patt and son-in-law, Jessie James Patt. We will always love her memories in our heart forever.
