Stacy Burns

Stacy Burns, 53, of Paris entered eternal rest on December 7, 2021. Maxey Funeral Home will conduct Funeral Services at 11:00 am Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Dr. Jerard Mosley serving as eulogist and the Rev. Floyd Trotter, pastor. Interment will follow to Restlawn Garden Cemetery.

Stacy Bernard Burns, born July 16, 1968 to the parentage of Ruby Brewer- Burns and the late Ocie Sanders, departed this life on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.  He loved life and enjoyed helping others, his family and friends.  He attended and graduated Paris High School in 1986 and was employed at Whataburger. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, daughter, Kasherri Hickson , mother, Ruby Brewer- Burns; sisters, Charlene Bass (Bernard), Fresno, California; Annette Burns-Perkins (Tommy); brothers, Don Burns and Demetreus “Pickle” Burns, Paris, Texas; his sweetheart, Mickey Wise; God sister, Deunsha Pruitt, grandchildren, Cor’Taezion, Imani, and Ameria and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Stacy reared Ry’Leigh Grigsby and Kennidy Hooker as his own.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Burns; sister, Sheila Burns, and father, Ocie Sanders.
