Terry Barber, 66, of Roxton entered eternal rest on March 19, 2023, in T Boone Pickens Center, Dallas, TX.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday,March 25, 2023, at Rocky Ford Baptist Church, Roxton, TX.

Interment will follow to Rocky Ford Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. The Rev. Natasha Runnels will serve as eulogist.

Terry Wayne Barber was born December 12, 1957 to Late Eugene Barber and Shirley Jean Perkins. He united in holy matrimony with Mary Ellen Foster on September 16,2022. He was a United States Army Veteran. He entered eternal rest on March 19, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Barber and sons: Rodney Barber (Shantina), Plano, TX; Eric Williams (Dez), San Diego, CA, Derek Williams (Tsior), San Antonio, TX; Terry Tennon , Paris, Tx; Jerome Tennon,Paris, TX; and daughters: Teniqua Twitty (Darrell), Paris, Tx; Natashia Runnels (Channing), Ladonia, TX; Shawnta Luniga (Omar), San Diego, CA.

He is survived by his brothers: Michael Walker, Roxton, TX; Tommy Walker, Cooper,Tx; Homer Barber, Phoenix, Az; and sisters Shirley Baston, Paris, TX; Vickie Mitchell Paris, TX; Billie Walker, Roxton, TX, Cynthia Walker Johnson, Paris, TX; Erica WalKer, Paris, TX; Trina Robinson, Roxton, TX ; Mary Faye Barber West, Duncan, OK; Bessie Lamb Phoenix, AZ; Louvina Turrentine, Barbena, CA. Also 30 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Barber and Shirley Walker, wife Edith Mary Barber, sister, Alice Hurd, baby sister Dale, baby brother, Ricky, son, Eric Barber, baby daughter, and grandson Christopher Jr.
