Vernella Record, 65, of Paris entered eternal rest August 24, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2022, at New Birth Baptist Church with Bishop Samuel F. Evans serving as eulogist and pastor. Interment will follow to Rocky Ford Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.

Vernella Ann Johnson Record was born on January 3, 1957, in Lamar County, Texas, to the parentage of the late Lonnie and Eddie Mae Williams Johnson. She was a graduate of Paris High School and was previously employed by Crockett Middle School.

Bennett and Willie Green; sister, Loretta Johnson; uncle, Roy Lee
Miller and wife, Geneva; and aunt, Ruby McLaughlin.
