Vickie Tyson Obituary

Vickie Kay Tyson, 54 of Paris went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2024. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 2, 2024, at El Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Randy McCarty will serve as eulogist. Interment will follow to Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Friday, March 1, 2024, in Maxey Funeral Home Chapel. 

Vickie Kay Tyson was born February 13, 1970, to the parentage of Glen and Louise Crussell Tyson. She was a 1989 graduate of Paris High School where she was a track and field standout. She enjoyed spending time with family and gardening. She was a former employee of Merico, Campbell Soup, and ROCK TENN. She attended Medical Assistant School and was a CNA during her
lifetime. She entered eternal rest on February 22, 2024.


SONS: Raphyael Tyson and wife, Erica of Cedar Hill, Texas. Randyael Tyson of Paris, Texas.

GRANDCHILDREN: Raphyael Tyson, Jr., “RJ” and Kashdan Tyson

SISTERS: Mary Crussell of Paris, Texas, Jacqueline Tyson of East Ampton, New Jersey.

BROTHERS: Paul Porter of Paris, Texas, Jeffrey Tyson of Paris, Texas, Ricky Tyson of Paris, Texas. Curtis Tyson of Paris, Texas.

UNCLE: Joe Crussell of Paris, Texas.

AUNT: Betty Sue Jones of Ross, Texas and Annie Bronner of Detroit, Texas.

Preceded in death by parents and siblings, Lilly Gentry, Doris Tyson, Terry Tyson, nephew, Joshua Tyson and Grandparents, John Anderson Crussell and Willie Mae Powell Crussell.
